Teacher Self-regulation: Validation of Scales in Chile Applied with an Online Technological Tool

Teacher self-regulation is of great importance because it allows an organized and structured professional exercise, also facilitates a successful performance the teaching learning process, allowing teacher to monitor effectiveness their pedagogical practices modeling self-regulatory skills in students. The objective this study was adapt validate scales measure processes Spanish with evidence its functionality by application technological tools. quantitative, instrumental design. sample consisted 204 secondary school teachers Chile. were adapted from Self-regulation Scale underwent back-translation procedures, cognitive interviews, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analyses. results showed adequate validity estimators for seven corresponding goal setting, intrinsic interest, orientation, mastery self-instruction, emotional control, self-evaluation. In conclusion, allow valid reliable measurement processes.
